TV Home cards and automatic startup
Opt into launcher progress cards or launch M3ufy after the box boots.
Options depend on your plan, profile, installed build and provider. Understand access. Screenshots use fictional demonstration data; a preview layout can differ slightly from a public build.
#Show Continue Watching on Android TV Home
Open Settings → Appearance & navigation → Home → Continue Watching on TV home.
- Use an adult profile and check that its unfinished items are appropriate for others using the TV to see.
- Enable the option; it is off by default.
- Open the Android TV launcher and allow its recommendation/row controls where offered.
- Select a card to return to the title and progress in M3ufy.
Launcher support varies. Supported Android TV launchers can expose the row; Google TV placement/availability is controlled by that platform and is not guaranteed.
#Start with the box
Start M3ufy when the device starts is separate from launcher cards.
- In Home settings, select the automatic-start option.
- If Android requires Display over other apps, deliberately grant that permission in Android settings.
- Return to M3ufy and enable the option again.
- Test a normal restart when convenient, not while somebody is recording or watching.
Off by default. This is for supported TV builds and normal boot, not a promise to take over every wake from standby. Android/OEM restrictions and force-stop state can prevent startup.
#Undo either feature
Disable TV-home sharing to stop publishing the profile’s row; launcher removal timing varies. Disable automatic startup if you prefer the box to open its normal launcher. Navigation → Open on still controls the page inside M3ufy when it opens.
