Install M3ufy, understand what is included, and get your first channel playing.
Options depend on your plan, profile, installed build and provider. Understand access. Screenshots use fictional demonstration data; a preview layout can differ slightly from a public build.
#What M3ufy does
M3ufy is a player for sources you supply. An app licence unlocks player features; it is not an IPTV subscription. Channels, movies, series, archives and their availability come from your provider or compatible services. Screenshots in this manual use original fictional artwork, sample channels and demonstration listings. None of that content is included with the normal app.
#Install and open the app
Use the official download on m3ufy.com or the supported store listing for your device.
- On your Android TV or Google TV, download the official installer using the website’s Download link.
- If Android asks, allow installation only for the installer you deliberately used. Review the installation prompt and open M3ufy.
- Keep an existing installation when updating: install over it. Do not uninstall or clear app data as an update step.
- Choose your app language, then add your own playlist using the information supplied by your provider.
#Your first few minutes
Start with one source and a small test.
- Add the playlist and wait for its initial channel data.
- Open Live TV, choose a group, select a channel and press OK.
- Open Settings → Library & content → Playlist → TV Guide to check guide sources and the selected playlist.
- Try a movie or episode if your source and plan include them. Only add extra sources after confirming this first source works.
A paid M3ufy plan cannot make expired provider credentials work. Keep your provider login separate from your M3ufy account login.
