Assign a channel’s guide and logo
Fix one channel’s schedule or artwork using the long-press pickers, without replacing the whole playlist.
Options depend on your plan, profile, installed build and provider. Understand access. Screenshots use fictional demonstration data; a preview layout can differ slightly from a public build.
#Open the channel actions
In the Guide, focus the channel/programme and hold OK. In the Live TV browsing list, hold OK on the channel row. Release the hold, then select Guide source or Pick a logo. Verify the channel name first: the setting belongs to the channel, not to the movie/show currently playing.
#Assign an explicit Guide source
A provider channel label and a feed’s channel identifier may differ too much for automatic matching.
- Choose Guide source. The picker shows the current assigned guide identifier when known.
- Use Search the guide to find the broadcaster/feed variant. If several guide feeds are stored, narrow the search to the intended source rather than confusing similarly named regions.
- Choose the correct result. A manual choice is kept when guide syncing runs again.
- Return to the channel and inspect multiple programme times. If listings are not stored yet, download/retry its compatible guide and check again.
The picker uses stored guide entries. It does not create EPG data or guarantee that a feed with a similar channel name has the correct regional schedule.
#Return to Automatic matching
Open Guide source again and choose Automatic. This removes the explicit assignment and lets the app’s matcher choose. Use it if your provider/feed identifiers were corrected, or the manual choice was wrong. It is different from deleting the guide feed.
#Choose channel artwork independently
Pick a logo uses images declared by stored guide channel entries; it can be changed without replacing the channel’s schedule.
- Hold OK on the intended channel/programme, then choose Pick a logo.
- Search for the intended broadcaster and choose a feed filter if needed.
- Select a result with suitable artwork. Entries with no logo are not useful logo choices.
- To undo, reopen Pick a logo and select Provider logo.
This picker selects guide artwork, not a phone photo upload. It does not alter movie/series posters. Bulk Use guide logos everywhere in TV Guide settings is a different, playlist-level action.
#If nothing matches
Check that the selected playlist’s intended EPG feed is enabled and has downloaded channel declarations. Try a shorter broadcaster name and inspect feed filters. An empty search does not mean all playlists must be deleted. If rows and preview/timeline remain inconsistent after correcting the mapping and refreshing, send a fresh report with the channel name and time, privately.
