Online subtitle providers, languages and appearance
Advanced settings depend on valid trial/Premium access and the installed build. Some controls appear only when their parent feature is enabled. Why an option may be missing.

Disable Live TV subtitles / CC
Keep Live TV subtitles and closed captions off across channels and restarts. Choosing Off in the live player saves this setting; selecting a subtitle track enables them again. Movie and series preferences are separate. Captions burned into the video cannot be removed.

Auto-select subtitles
Turn on a subtitle by itself when a title has one in your preferred languages below. Off starts everything with subtitles hidden until you pick one.

Languages
Which languages to auto-enable, in priority order (first available wins; embedded subtitles are preferred over online). Select to choose.

Text Size
How large the subtitles appear. Select to change. Choices: Small, Medium, Large or Extra large.

Text Colour
Subtitle text colour. Select to change. Choices: White, Yellow, Cyan or Green.

SubDL API Key
Use a personal service key or the app’s built-in/default-key action when offered. External quotas still apply.
Choose this service, enter its valid key and Save. Keep keys private. Return to the default only with the dialog’s intended action.
