Live TV player
Choose the engine for the next Live TV stream. Available engines depend on the installed build.
Select an engine, reopen the same channel and compare. A codec change cannot fix expired provider credentials.
Movies & series player
Choose the engine for the next movie or episode, independently of Live TV.
Select an available engine and reopen the title. Some builds do not include mpv.
Buffer
How far behind the live picture playback starts, and how much it keeps. Larger rides out a line that cuts for a second or two, at the cost of a slower start. Automatic suits most connections. Takes effect the next time the app starts. Choices: Automatic, Larger or Largest. Change this only to address brief interruptions; it cannot fix an unavailable stream.
Focus this action and press OK. Review the opened panel or confirmation before proceeding; BACK closes the current dialog.
Auto re-sync audio
For televisions where the sound slowly drifts out of step during a long film, even without buffering. Restarts both decoders at the current moment, every so often, before the drift becomes noticeable. Costs a brief pause each time — leave it off unless you have the problem. You can also re-sync by hand at any time from the Audio tab while watching. Choices: Off, or every 10, 20 or 30 minutes. Re-sync causes a brief pause.
Focus this action and press OK. Review the opened panel or confirmation before proceeding; BACK closes the current dialog.
Send Dolby and DTS to my receiver
Passes the soundtrack through untouched instead of decoding it here, so the amplifier does the work and DTS-HD and TrueHD play at all. Turn it off again if a film plays with no sound: that means the receiver cannot decode what it was sent.
Focus this row and press OK to switch it on or off. Check the displayed state before leaving.
Match display to video
Switches the TV to the film's own frame rate — 24, 25 or 50Hz — so pans stop juddering. The screen may go black for a second when it changes.
Focus this row and press OK to switch it on or off. Check the displayed state before leaving.
Surround to stereo
Fold 5.1 down to two channels. Automatic asks the box; some boxes claim six channels and play none, which is silence with no error. Applies next time you open something.
Focus this action and press OK. Review the opened panel or confirmation before proceeding; BACK closes the current dialog.
Force Dolby Vision as HDR10
A television without Dolby Vision already plays these files as HDR10 automatically — you do not need this for that. Turn it on only if your TV HAS Dolby Vision and shows it wrongly: washed out, tinted, or black with sound. It drops the dynamic metadata, so where Dolby Vision works the picture is flatter.
Focus this row and press OK to switch it on or off. Check the displayed state before leaving.
Switch to mpv automatically
When a channel, movie or episode cannot play because of its format, codec or missing picture, retry with mpv. The selected player is tried first; information shows the player actually in use. Network and subscription errors are not solved by changing players.
Focus this row and press OK to switch it on or off. Check the displayed state before leaving.
Play the next episode automatically
On by default. When an episode ends the next one starts on its own, and a "Next episode" button appears shortly before the end. Turn it off to stay on the episode you are watching until you choose otherwise.
Focus this row and press OK to switch it on or off. Check the displayed state before leaving.
Skip Intro / Recap / Credits
Show a Skip button during an episode's opening titles, "previously on" recap, or end credits, using community-sourced timestamps (IntroDB). Only appears when data exists for that episode.
Focus this row and press OK to switch it on or off. Check the displayed state before leaving.
Audio Languages
Which audio track to select automatically, in priority order (first available wins). "Original (VO)" plays the language the title was made in. Select to choose.
Focus this action and press OK. Review the opened panel or confirmation before proceeding; BACK closes the current dialog.
