Movies, series and Continue Watching
Explore a title, resume safely, change sources and understand end-of-playback suggestions.
Options depend on your plan, profile, installed build and provider. Understand access. Screenshots use fictional demonstration data; a preview layout can differ slightly from a public build.
#Choose a title
Open Movies or Series, choose a group and select a poster. Classic uses the visible group sidebar; Immersive uses a larger preview and grid, with LEFT bringing the sidebar back. Sort inside groups changes ordering without editing your provider’s catalogue.
- Open a movie detail page and review its plot, format and available actions.
- Select Play and choose a source if more than one is offered.
- For a series, choose the season and episode before playback.
- Use Add to Watchlist or Mark watched when those actions are offered. Download is separate from streaming.
#Resume where you stopped
Continue Watching on Home holds unfinished movies/episodes for the active profile. Open an entry and resume rather than selecting Start over. The TV-launcher row is separately opt-in.
- Choose the saved item in Continue Watching.
- If the old IPTV source is missing, choose an available alternative source when offered.
- For a series, verify that the replacement is the same season and episode.
- Resume and check the position. Different cuts or versions can need a small manual seek.
A replacement source must actually contain the title. M3ufy cannot recover a removed provider stream or guarantee identical timings across different editions.
#Next episode, skipping and finishing
Play the next episode automatically controls auto-next. Skip Intro / Recap / Credits offers buttons only when community timestamps exist for that episode. At the final available episode, choose another item yourself rather than treating episode one as a newly released next episode. When a finished title offers three similar picks, open the new title and choose a playable source; recommendations are discovery, not proof of availability.
#Watchlist, actors and studios
Watchlist saves titles for later; Continue Watching saves unfinished progress. Selecting a linked actor or studio opens related metadata/catalogue views where available. Artwork, logos, plots and ratings depend on metadata matching and language, not just the playlist filename.
#Remove progress carefully
Settings → Appearance & navigation → Home → Clear Continue Watching removes the entire row from this device and cloud, while keeping watched marks. Hiding the row only changes visibility. Do not use Clear just to change the Home layout.
