Meet EPG Full.
A guide matched to your provider.

A working stream is only half the experience. If your guide is empty or the listings do not match your channels, a provider-matched XMLTV source can help. Here is how our new EPG service works with M3ufy.

Why matching the provider matters

An EPG, or electronic programme guide, supplies the programme names, times and descriptions shown beside your channels. An XMLTV file does not supply the video stream itself.

For the guide to work, the player needs to associate its channel identifiers or names with the channels in your playlist. Providers can name the same station differently, add regional versions or use their own identifiers. A general guide may download successfully without matching the channels you actually watch.

EPG Full’s provider-matched XMLTV guides are built around supported providers’ channel lists. Choose the provider that corresponds to your playlist, rather than assuming any guide will match every service.

What EPG Full offers

  • Provider-specific guides: currently available for Crystal, Dino, Dream 4K, MAX OTT, Strong 8K and TREX. Check the service’s current list before signing up.
  • Hourly guide builds: the service refreshes its published guide files every hour. Your player’s download schedule is configured separately.
  • Channel logos: available artwork can be used alongside the programme listings.
  • A choice of file sizes: full, EU and World guides, plus a custom guide containing selected categories.
  • A personal dashboard: copy your guide links, manage categories and check download usage.

Coverage depends on the provider, channel and available schedule data. Some event or PPV slots use event-name placeholders instead of a continuous programme schedule. Not every playlist entry has a full TV guide. Use the trial to check the channels that matter to you.

How to add EPG Full to M3ufy

  1. Choose your provider on EPG Full. Start the trial, verify your email and copy the personal XMLTV link from your dashboard.
  2. Open M3ufy’s guide settings. Select the playlist you want the guide to serve. This matters when you use more than one provider.
  3. Add the guide link. Choose + Add a guide link, paste the URL, tick that source and select Download the ticked sources. Labels may vary with the app version or language.
  4. Check the result. Open Live TV or the Guide and verify the listings on a few familiar channels. If you want the supplied artwork, enable the guide-logo option for that playlist.

For the illustrated instructions and current file options, see the EPG Full setup guide for M3ufy. Keep your personal guide URL private: do not post it in screenshots, reviews or public support messages.

Keep your guide lighter

If you only watch a few categories, start with a custom guide rather than importing everything. Smaller files mean less data to download and parse, which can help on TV boxes with limited memory or storage. EU or World files are another option when you only need one region.

Downloading more often is not always better. Respect your EPG Full plan’s download allowance, and choose a sensible refresh interval in the player. If a channel remains empty, check the selected provider, playlist and channel match before repeatedly downloading the same file.

Try it with your own channels

EPG Full currently offers a free two-day trial with no payment required. At publication, the Premium plan is €5.90 per year with up to 20 guide downloads a day. Check the website for current prices, providers and limits.

EPG Full supplies guide data, not channels, streams or an IPTV subscription. M3ufy is a separate media player. You still need your own compatible, authorised content source.
